Fearless Dance Empire is a holistic dance program fully committed to teaching the art and discipline of dance, while encouraging all students to strive for their personal excellence. In 2014, under the direction of Ms. LaKeisha Johnson, Fearless Dance Empire began as an after school program with 22 young ladies at Coldstream Park Elementary Middle School. The program has now grown to 4 locations; partnering with 3 Baltimore City Public and Charter Schools, over 450 students, and a plethora of supporters and partners. Ms. LaKeisha knows that every student may not want to become a professional dancer, moreover she understands that students have the ability to strive for their personal excellence; an act in itself is fearless. FDE offers a variety of classes including: Ballet, Modern, Tap, Pointe, Hip Hop, Jumps and Turns and Acrobatics (classes are once a week). Additional classes include Jumps and Turns, IMPROV, Audition Prep (piano, voice, and audition techniques), Boys Combo Class (Tap and Hip Hop), and Fearless DANCEability (Students with special needs) Summer camps and performance company opportunities also available!
